Rivelin Care Home
Rivelin residential home is situated a stone’s throw from the seafront in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire. It provides dementia and residential care in a pleasant, homely setting that is well-maintained. All rooms are single occupancy, and furnished in high standard.
The quality of care, combined with creating a true home for our residents, is our top priority.
We cater to residents with a range of needs, including frail elderly care, dementia care, respite care, post-operative care, and we also offer day care services.

Rivelin caters for 40 people in need of residential or dementia care, with 40 single occupancy rooms. The home is spread over three floors with lift access. Rivelin has a relaxing, homely atmosphere where Residents feel secure, and where their loved ones enjoy coming to visit.The three comfortable lounges have
stylish furniture, Smart televisions which are beautifully decorated throughout, giving a cosy feel.
Whether Residents at Rivelin want to socialise with friends and family or have some quiet relaxation time, they can choose from three inviting lounges, there is also a recently refurbished dining room and a family room available for private times.
Rivelin has two passenger lifts and a secure patio area which is fully accessible for wheelchair users, in the summer months we have barbecues, garden tea parties for Residents and their families and friends.

We understand that every individual has unique interests, preferences and abilities, which is why we actively involve everyone in planning our activities. We are committed to activity based care, promoting Independence to each resident’s capabilities, we have an activity coordinator who provide a wide range of activities such as spa treatments (manicures, facials, foot care); baking; preparing vegetables; setting tables; quizzes; knitting; sewing; crafts; flower arrangements, cheese and wine nights and seasonal celebrations.
Residents are supported to go to visit local shops, library, churches and other areas according to their preferences. Rivelin facilitate regular external entertainers to visit the home to entertain our Residents. Our compassionate staff is trained to engage in meaningful conversations, encouraging residents to share their stories and experiences.
We also work in collaboration with NAPA, The National Activity Providers Association, with whom we are also registered.

We believe that mealtimes should be both nourishing and enjoyable, offering a variety of delicious, wholesome meals designed to meet the individual needs and preferences of our residents. We understand that each resident has unique dietary needs, whether for medical, cultural, or personal reasons. Our dining areas are designed to foster a warm and social atmosphere, where residents can dine together and engage in lively conversation. For those who prefer more private dining, we also offer room service options. Our daily menu offers a wide range of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as nutritious snacks throughout the day, along with providing a selection of beverages, including teas, fresh juices, and coffee.
